time really flies... i have been working at maybank for a month... starting to like this job even though it's quite routine... but i have learnt lots of the different functions of excel... lol... anyway vonG was looking for a job so i recommended her and her friend in to maybank... she will be going for her interview on tuesday so wish her luck!! hope she will get this job and we can work in the same company... but it will be at different location... =(
anyway yesterday i was watching a channel U show hosted by belinda where she goes to different countries searching for singaporeans... yup and yesterday's episode she went to a rural part of china... i was quite shocked and sadded by one part of it because they went up to a mountain top to visit a guy who has mental problem... the sad thing was the guy was locked in a wooden cage built by his family and it's so small that he can only sit down... the guy is only 26 years old and he was locked inside for 8 years!!! can you imagine?? for bloody 8 years... so he was locked inside since the age of 18....
the guy has mental problem therefore his family have no choice but to do so because he has burnt down his own house before... and he's willing to be locked without fighting back... at that time... my eyes are filled with tears... it's really so sad to see all these... not stepping out for 8 years, don't know how he bath and he do his business inside the cage too... i feel so fortunate to be living in singapore... it's time to start appreciating on what you have....
